VISUAL EVIDENCE
this is a propaganda poster of a Japanese solider trying to stab a american women and in bold letters it says "This is the enemy" this gave Americans reassurance that they were making the correct choice when bombing the two cities. During our entry into the war and our island hoping strategy we saw that Japanese soldiers weren't gonna give up until they all died. so we had no other choice, cause if we choose to invade the Japanese we would've lost a lot more men.
This propaganda poster is an example of why america dropped the bombs in the first place we were apart of an unprovoked attack by the Japanese costing us great loss of our navy vessels and men. We wanted to avenge our soldiers but at the same time we really didn't want to go into war in the first place.
MEDIA EVIDENCE

The growing power in Germany by invading and taking land from other countries also influenced our entrance into World War II. The events of the Axis Powers caused Americans to become concerned about the well being of European people being invaded. Furthermore we took action for them by defending the European people. Americans needed to enter into the war with something more powerful than tanks and naval vessels, thus bringing the Manhattan project. The project consisted of dropping the two bombs "little boy " with the planes Enola Gay and Fat Man.
